LANDSCAPE Design & Build

At YARD YOGI, our mission is to transform outdoor spaces. Everything is handled in house from the design phase to the completed construction. The success of any project starts with a plan. Understanding your goal, taste, pallet, confining site variables, and budget are some of the key factors that affect the end result. Below are the main features that we like to incorporate into our projects.

GARDENS

While gardens may be the last step in the construction process, they are pivotal to the project. Understanding variety, texture, and mature sizes are all key to a successful garden

WALLS

Retaining walls create something we like to call vertical interest. Walls set elevation variability on your property allowing the land to be broken down into multiple unique areas.

PATIOS/WALKWAYS

Patios and Walkways are the lifeblood of an outdoor living space. These provide access around the lot and create entertainment spaces; allowing your landscape to become an extension of the home... not just something that looks pretty. Some common types are pavers, brick, natural stone, and porcelain tile.

FENCES

Fences are great for providing a defined property boarder, or to compartmentalize an intimate portion of the property. Some common types include wood, vinyl, aluminum, iron, and glass.

PONDS/ WATER FEATURES

Water features provide a very unique and grounding element to the landscape. While simple, the sound and movement of water provide a multi sensory experience.

FIRE PITS

Fire pits are another simple feature that brings your home together. Whether its wood or gas, we got it.

ARTIFICIAL TURF

Depending on your individual need, artificial turf may be better than traditional grass. Some examples include sports areas, putting greens, lawn areas with zero access, or areas that are constantly destroyed by dogs.

GRASS

For most people, real grass will be more suitable instead of artificial turf. We offer seed, hydroseed, and sod.

PERGOLAS/ARBORS

Pergolas are perfect for creating unique spaces in your landscape. Utilizing them on patios creates a space that can be used in all weather.

STONE VENEER

Veneer is a great way to elevate the look of otherwise lack luster concrete walls. We like to add them to foundations, entry ways to homes, fire places, kitchens, and concrete retaining walls.

EXCAVATION/DEMOLITION

In most cases, before any construction begins, old structures and vegetation must be removed.
